Okay, here I go again participating in yet another Blog Love Swap. Only to get snubbed by other swappers that it is not a real swap. I like Blog Love, it is about sharing your blog with others and discovering something new.

What is it? Are some swappers just thirsty to get a lot of things related to their profile for a heart. Hearting for everyone who does not know is what you get for going beyond the required swap requirements. Swap-Bot is a cool site, but it appears to me that some swappers aren't up to par. Are you allowed to be a jerk just because you have over 25 hearts? Well enjoy my blog, and do leave a few comments.

I've been busy and I have lots to share but I decided to spread it out a bit over a few posts. Today I recieved a book I bought on ebay called " The Classic Techniques." It is a Time Life Books publication and it is vintage. The copyright date inside reads 1973. I bought it because it was pink. How can you go wrong with Pink! Anyway the color is very lovely meshallah. There is also a printed fabric design I really love this book Meshallah. If you can locate one grab it. I will try to show a few photos of the inside soon Inshallah. For now just look at the photo from the listing. There is something about old books that were written before I could ever read. The copyright on this book is before I ever existed. It is like discovering something new. New but old, does that make sense? It does to me.

Trying not to be a sporadic blogger

Hello everyone I am back after a week or so. I can remember posting about my Etsy experience and I was so please with the purchase you see above. It is a dichroic glass pendant in all my fave colors. You see there are some pinks, greens, blues, lilac and yellow and its plaid. I love it because you see I am a big fan of color. I like color. Bright, pastel, candy colors are lovely. Dichroic glass was first used by NASA as optical fillers to protect astronaunts from cosmic radiation. And when you look at it and turn the glass in the light it reflects different colors and it sparkles. It is used in fused glass and glass blowing. Now that is an interesting hobby.

I bought this from an Etsy seller called Full Spectrum Glass you can go to there site at http://fullspectrumartglass.etsy.com/. I was their first buyer. The pictures aren't really good because the photo which I got from their listing does not do this pendant any justice. Check them out if you get a chance.

These pink plaid babies appeal to me, it reminds me of Lily P sitting on the porch drinking iced tea. Find these at Target and you can shop by color. Soon I will Inshallah provide links, when I actually learn how to. I believe you can get 4 for 14.99!

You can find these at Target a set are a mere 17.99. These glasses make me think of tangy lemonade and sweet summer breezes.

Cath Kidston's Lemon and Geranium

I really like this lotion and soap set. Smells great and its green which is something I love. The only thing that bothers me is that when I run out I have to order online, by mail and the shipping is ridiculous. Cath Kidston has only one store in the U.S> (that I know of) and it's in NewYork. I want to go there really soon, but not until next year. I will post my finds whenever I get a chance to shop there.

I have not been able to post. I have been looking for suppliers comparing prices and developing a marketing plan for my business, which is set Inshallah, to launch on the 30th of September. I am very excited.

I have a new banner, a new logo and business card templet. It was dirt cheap, I paid only 23 dollars for it. Yeah, yeah you heard me, it looks great Meshallah. I will debut it in my Etsy store on opening day Inshallah.

I am in the start up stage Meshallah as I have posted previously. I wonder how much I should pay myself for seeking out the best suppliers and materials for my jewelry and decor. I am a stay at home mom and I have many many responsibilities. I find myself more busy than I was working. It is not easy to say the least. I am a mother, a wife, a designer, a cook, a cleaner, a decorator and a business owner. My Etsy shop is coming along, Meshallah. I bought myself a banner last week and a few supplies. I was able to sketch out a few drawings of my jewelry creations that I have been working on so that's a start. Inshallah I will have my business open by September 30th. I want to see if I can post 3 items a day for 7 days straight. We will see how it goes and I will keep you posted on it Inshallah.

Why do I repeatedly use the word Inshallah?

For everyone who is not aware of why I say and post Inshallah repeatedly. It means " As Almighty God Wills". I can plan and work all I want. If it is not His Will, it is pointless and I won't succeed. Allah means Almighty God for all who are not aware. If you want to know more go to spubs.com. It has a lot of useful information and will dispel many untruths about Islam and muslims. A muslim is one who submits to the will of Almighty God.

Little by little I am starting my business, Alhamdililah, There is a lot of planning involved. But at least I am starting Meshallah and that is progress for me. I am not a business guru, but I have read many, many books on the subject. Sometimes I get sidetracked which is easy on the internet. Mostly I try to remain balance, Inshallah that is my goal to be balance and focused. I have no pictures to post yet, and I don't know if anyone is reading but if you are HI! And thanks for coming to my blog page. It will get interesting in time Inshallah and if not just link to some of my favorite blogs.

Lately I have been making a few purchases on Etsy you can go there at etsy.com. This site feature all things homemade, which is a nice change of pace Meshallah, where many companies crank out duplicates of the same merchandise. At Etsy you can buy something different and in some cases the sellers will custom make it just for you. Personally, I think that is great and as a person who doesn't like to follow trends I've been shopping like crazy and hearting as well. For those of you who dont know you can heart a seller or an item that is featured in there store. Actually I call it hearting. Its a great shopping experience with many many features. Like the Time Machine, yep I said it the Time Machine, it shows recently listed items that appear as posted and refreshes every 15 seconds. It is a pretty unique feature meshallah and I give the web designer a thumbs up for their creativity and innovation. Anyway that is how I found this very pretty dichroic glass pendant. I saw it on the corner of my eye as I was on the buy page. I will post a picture of it soon. I need to get another camera to document it's beauty Meshallah.

This is my first entry and I am new to this. All through out my life every since I could write I kept a note book, but it always was violated by prying eye. ( Dont you just hate that!) Bye, gotta go.
